This European Opulence-inspired styled shoot, designed by The Styled Soiree and captured by Sara Lynn Photographic and Dacosta Films, was influenced by the bucolic castle setting of Cherokee Ranch and Castle.
Rich textures and luxurious fabrics added to the venue’s existing opulence while natural elements of marble and wood added a modern, organic twist. Guided by the bridal suite, a dusty French blue was the main color inspiration for the shoot, married with pops of pale peach and blackberry.
An intimate ceremony overlooked the valley below from a terrace featuring rock walls and expansive archways. The bride and groom were framed by a calligraphy installation with the phrase “Love doesn’t mean gazing at each other, but looking, together, in the same direction” hand lettered in both French and English.
The bridal bouquet was a contemporary take on a cascading bouquet with trailing vines of clematis and honeysuckle. The slightly wild setting of the venue was echoed in the natural, rambling silhouettes of the ceremony arbor and centerpieces.
We were hoping to showcase the beauty of an intimate, luxurious wedding honoring a truly unique Colorado venue: the opulence of a European Castle-wedding with a modern, organic twist.
