Jake and Makinzie, September 2015 | Buena Vista, CO
Jake and Makinzie held their wedding at the Surf Chateau in gorgeous Buena Vista, CO. They wanted a Restoration Hardware theme, natural and organic feeling florals and a fun, party feel for their 65 guests.
I had the total pleasure of working with the couple for nearly a year prior to their wedding. They live in Minnesota but wanted a destination wedding weekend for their closest friends and family. They had already discovered the Surf Chateau when we began working together and allowed the venue to dictate their wedding style (so smart!)
Being a destination couple, we worked together mainly via phone and email (they were so awesome about correspondence), taking one trip together to Buena Vista in March 2015.
This couple was so surrounded by love, their friends and family were amazing! When the groom's father is sporting a Man Bun, you know the party is going to be epic!
