MICHELLE + GEORGE | VAIL, COLORADO

Newlywed couple overlooking the Vail mountains after their Vail Interfaith Chapel wedding.

A Timeless Vail Wedding at The Sonnenalp

Michelle and George chose Vail Interfaith Chapel and The Sonnenalp for their September wedding, pairing classic black-tie style with the cozy feel of the Colorado mountains. White and soft blue, paired with abundant greenery, carried from the illustrated invitation suite through the ceremony and reception.

After exchanging vows at Vail Interfaith Chapel, the newlyweds rode the gondola to the top of Vail Mountain for portraits. Michelle’s sculptural Anne Barge gown and George’s white dinner jacket looked especially striking against the golden aspens and expansive mountain views.

The glass-roofed reception room at The Sonnenalp was set with white flowers, greenery, warm wood chairs, and touches of gold. The couple opened the evening with a candlelit first dance before their guests filled the dance floor.
